MWR Young & Fit

Beginning July 12, 2008 MWR will offer fitness programs for young adults.  In conjunction with the Child and Youth Services child care program, MWR knows the importance of fitness being made available to the adult and the young adult community.  Children aged 12 to 17 can now participate in a fitness program designed especially for them.

Every Saturday the MWR Young & Fit program hours are from 8am to 12noon.  Starting at 8 am we will begin with strength training programs until 11am.  An interval workout will begin next.  This one hour class will feature flowing drill exercises that will target the entire body.  Although created for our Young & Fit population, we encourage parents to join in and workout side by side with them.

The Young & Fit program comes complete with weekly handouts designed to help encourage lifestyle changes, bring awareness to better physical health and more.  For more information contact Pam Greene at 751-5768 or come by the Solomon center Saturday morning and get started.
